DO YOU want to learn about other world regions, their histories and cultures?

  • Discuss how to teach from global perspectives within an online community?
  • Would you enjoy examining websites and sharing ideas through electronic communication with other teachers and people from around the world?
  • Will you be able to spend 5-8 hrs a week for ten weeks on coursework -- reading, examining and responding to webwork, applying ideas and materials to your own teaching?

When registration begins ,the course will fill on a first-come, first-serve basis.  In the course there will also be support staff from Ohio State's area studies centers who have expertise on Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Slavic and Eastern Europe.  After 25 people have registered, a waitlist will begin.
