Purpose:
The online modules were developed to provide teachers with easy access to high quality scholarship, primary sources, and web-based connections to five world regions. All the resources in the modules are recommended by Title VI national resource centers. Please note only some of the resources are appropriate for middle and high school students.

Module Organization:
Each module has three sections. First a list of websites, then print materials, and then films and other media. All resources are in alphabetical order by title within each section. The reviews were written by either classroom teachers or area studies specialists and express their points of view which are not necessarily the views of the Social Studies and Global Education Program. All resources and reviews have been approved by the outreach coordinators of Ohio State's area studies centers.

Future Development
In late 2002 modules will be added on global education. By summer 2003, we will expand the modules to include resources for elementary level teachers and students. In 2004 we will add resources for foreign language and ESL teachers and students.
